    Jeddah Central Project

Introducing the Jeddah Central Project - an ambitious development designed to make Jeddah a world-class destination and strengthen the city's economy.

Launched in 2021 by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Jeddah Central Project is designed to preserve Jeddah's rich heritage while embracing modernity. Featuring four notable landmarks (Opera House, Museum, Sports Stadium and Oceanarium), a marina, beach resorts, restaurants, cafes, diverse shopping options and modern residential areas, the $19.9bn+ project will develop 5.7 million square meters in the heart of Jeddah. The plan reflects the Hijazi essence of Jeddah in a contemporary interpretation and has adopted world-class sustainability standards.

The development will be completed across three phases, with the first phase accounting for 45% of the development and set to be completed by the end of 2027, including the Opera House, the Stadium and the Oceanarium in addition to the public beach and some other major attractions. The next 36% of the development is due for completion in 2030 and will focus on creating a vibrant economic, cultural, and entertainment hub.
