Throughout Saudi Arabia's transformation, one thing has remained the same: the Kingdom's dedication and service to the Two Holy Mosques and pilgrims. The Pilgrim Experience Program seeks to enrich pilgrims' spiritual journeys.

At the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds, Saudi Arabia has the privilege of serving the Two Holy Mosques. Millions of pilgrims from both around the world and here in the Kingdom take part in Hajj and Umrah annually.

The Pilgrim Experience Program provides pilgrims with world-class facilities, improved infrastructure and digitized services to ensure each individual is blessed with a distinguished spiritual experience they never forget.

Launched in 2019, the Pilgrim Experience Program is honored to serve the millions of pilgrims here in Saudi Arabia and welcome those who travel to the Kingdom from all corners of the world. Through an in-depth analysis of a pilgrim's journey, needs and expectations, the Program has worked hand in hand with government entities and the private sector to ensure that Hajj and Umrah pilgrims are able to experience a fully transformative journey of their faith.

The Program has digitized and streamlined services along all points of a pilgrimage, from e-visas made available to foreign pilgrims to the launch of the Haramain high-speed train that makes transport between Jeddah Airport and the Holy Sites easy and convenient.

Not only does the Program work to ensure seamless logistics, it takes great pride in providing an immersive cultural experience. Initiatives that restore and develop historic Islamic sites play an important role in the pilgrim's spiritual journey by enabling them to visit and enjoy places of great importance.

The Program is a model of agility and strategic excellence and infrastructure, acting quickly to guarantee a successful pilgrimage journey (Manasik) by safeguarding against any threat and having highly skilled personnel on hand. And as the world recovers, the Program is committed to increasing the number of pilgrims to surpass pre-pandemic numbers, with the goal of hosting 15 million international Umrah pilgrims annually by 2025. In order to achieve this goal, the Program believes that private sector support is essential in elevating the Kingdom's status as a modern Islamic and cultural destination for pilgrims.
